Pilates House is affiliated with the Australian Pilates Method Association (APMA) and the staff at Pilates House are all accredited APMA instructors or practitioners. APMA-accredited instructors have had over 550 hours of training and experience in order to qualify as Level 2 instructors. Level 3 instructors have had 3500 hours' experience and Level 4 instructures have had more than 7500 hours’ experience.

If you are considering taking up Pilates, and would like to be sure that you will be receiving the best instruction possible, ask at Pilates House or ask your individual instructor how they were certified, and by what training system. If the instructor is a member of the Australian Pilates Method Association you can be sure that they have been thoroughly trained and equipped to deal with any special needs or goals you may have.

Pilates has become increasingly popular in the last few years and it is available in many different environments . However they will not all have had the same standard of training and will have differing levels of expertise. Some training organisations provide accreditation after only a weekend or short course.
